Job Description: Electrical Engineer (Industrial)



Position Overview:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in electrical engineering for our Plant and Equipment Department. This position, based in Houston, TX, emphasizes design, coordination, and practical field support, catering to the electrical needs of our operations and fleet. The role entails roughly 50% domestic travel, engaging the successful candidate in a broad range of activities across multiple sites.



Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering



Key Responsibilities:

Design, control, and implement electrical systems for both new and existing fleet operations.

Develop proposals, drawings, and inquiries to fulfill the requirements of the equipment group and project estimations.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet design specifications for electrical systems.

Oversee project upgrade proposals, including pricing, specifications, and drafting single-line diagrams.

Interface with regulatory bodies for system approvals.

Work collaboratively across various departments for projects that require joint efforts.

Undertake travel to various project locations within the USA as needed.

Maintain updated documentation of drawings and software in the company's systems.

Provide on-call support, including non-standard hours, as required.

Offer technical leadership and ensure quality control over electrical equipment and installations.

Skills and Experience:



Proficiency in power distribution systems, motor control centers, process control systems, and safety systems within an industrial setting.

Knowledge of industrial standards and safety codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).

Experience in process control, automation, and maintenance of industrial electrical systems.

Strong project management capabilities.

Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and explosion-proof equipment.

Excellent documentation and compliance skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
