Primary Responsibilities:
- Design of electrical power, information technology, and related systems for commercial and residential buildings
- Work with clients and team members to understand and develop project requirements and implementation.
- Develop construction drawings and documentation in Revit.
- Prepare specification sections for project manuals.
- Perform calculations such as: wire/cable sizing, voltage/signal loss, load center/panelboard/switchgear/generator, sizing, etc.
- Coordinate equipment selections with equipment vendors and manufacturers.
- Coordinate system components with project architect and other team members.
- Coordinate spatial requirements for electrical systems.
- Perform construction administration services on assigned projects such as review of shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFI's
- Visit Construction project sites and prepare observation reports and punch lists.
- Coordinate utility services sizes and locations with various utility representatives.
- Ensure that the company technical policies and procedures are practiced during the execution of team projects.
- Attend project design/construction meetings as needed.
- Assist in the development of conceptual presentations to clients.
- Direct/assist supporting personnel on assigned projects.
- Mentor/support other team members
