Automated Railroad Maintenance Systems (ARMS) is located in O’Fallon, MO and sells power and communication systems to the North American Railroad Industry. ARMS specializes in Design, Distribution, and System Integration including complete turnkey systems. ARMS has an exciting position for an experienced Electrical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Design DC power systems

System design of small, medium, and large power sytems including chargers, battery, DC-DC Converters, DC-AC inverters, DC Distribution, power monitoring. Alternative Power designs include Solar, Wind, Hydrogen fuel cells.

Power system applications include Telecom, UPS, mission critical systems, large diesel electric engine starting, IoT.

Battery types: VRLA, FLA, Lithium Ion

Documentation

Create technical document packages for products and systems.

Minimum Requirements:

BSEE degree.

5 years experience in DC power system design

Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and workload.

Works well in a team environment.

Competitive salary for qualified

Experience with Railroad Locomotive, Signal & communications

Quality Control experience and certifications

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
