Electrical Engineer III

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is required or a master's degree in electrical engineering is preferred. Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering in a regulated field (medical strongly preferred). Must have hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and be able to identify hardware issues with utilizing logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, or similar equipment. Must have familiarity with electrical test methods. Must be able to work when not all inputs are known upfront. Must have experience in communicating with non-technical individuals or individuals unfamiliar with electrical engineering concepts. Must have knowledge of analog circuit design for signal measurement and digital test/debugging. Must be willing to be mentored and mentor as needed. Preference to individuals with experience in creating/maintaining schematics and layout in Altium Designer. Preference to candidates with new product development experience. Preference to candidates with experience with laser and optics. Preference to candidates with ability to write firmware in C/C++. Familiarity with reading standards and regulation documents. Must be able to perform root cause analysis of electrical issues. Must have excellent communication and writing skills involving both technical and non-technical documentation. Must be able to express technical ideas to non-technical groups. Experience with Altium Designer is strongly preferred. Must have analytical reasoning with modeling and statistical approach to analysis. Self-driven individual who is capable and excited to learn about new technologies.
