Electrical Engineer Manufacturing

We are looking for a skilled and solutions-driven Electrical Engineer to join our operations team and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing production systems and electrical infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments who is passionate about engineering, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

The role involves supporting the daily operations of a busy production facility, ensuring that electrical systems and equipment function safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems, machinery, and automated production lines

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness

• Design and implement electrical upgrades or modifications to meet evolving production requirements

• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and control systems

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards related to electrical systems

• Maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, maintenance records, and specifications

• Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements

• Provide technical support during audits, inspections, and external assessments

Requirements:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Proven experience working as an electrical engineer within a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation controls, and production line equipment

• Familiarity with PLC programming and SCADA systems is a strong advantage

• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Good understanding of safety regulations and standards related to electrical systems

• Fluency in English; Maltese is considered an asset
