The Hardware Engineering organization is dedicated to consistently providing high quality product designs in support of multiple product areas. The RF Business Unit Electrical team provides concept-to-production development, test, and integration for all types of digital, analog, power and RF hardware that support architectures for RF systems.\n\nThe RF Electrical Engineering Manager will oversee a group of engineers performing electronic hardware design at the circuit, subsystem, and/or system level for advanced product development, involving translation of customer requirements into hardware requirements and implementation, as well as test and integration of hardware subsystems and components.\n\nResponsibilities include the ability to oversee project execution, maintain staffing across multiple programs, monitor and improve design processes, provide collaboration internal and external to the Hardware Engineering (HWE) organization, as well as training and development of the engineering staff. The RF Electrical manager will have previous, relevant experience in Analog, Digital, Power, RF including test and integration in a production environment. The candidate should also be familiar with one or more of the other related disciplines, such as systems, software, and the above listed disciplines. The RF Electrical manager will have developed strong communication and leadership skills in order to lead teams and represent the organization as a prime point of contact for the RF-specific programs.\n\nThis position will be full-time and on-site at our Rolling Meadows, IL. location\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n\\- BS degree in Engineering / Physics and minimum 8 years relevant experience; or MS degree in Engineering / Physics with minimum 6 years relevant experience; or BS degree in other technical disciplines with related industry experience of 10 years or more\n\n\\- Demonstrated success in leading, collaborating, and developing cross functional teams on complex technical projects\n\n\\- Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors\n\n\\- US Citizenship\n\n\\- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\\- An advanced degree in Engineering / Physics / Engineering Management\n\n\\- Working knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems/hardware\n\n\\- Prior success in leading and developing a strong technical staff\n\n\\- Demonstrated interest in process improvement initiatives, including Agile process metrics tracking and execution of process improvement/development projects\n\n\\- Current Security Clearance - Secret\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $153,800.00 - $230,800.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
