Electrical Engineering Manager - Fast Hire

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Manager/Project Lead to join our dynamic team and lead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, product quality, safety, and profitability in our alloy steel business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage strategic engineering projects aimed at increasing plant productivity, improving product quality, and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Conduct technical, economic, and risk assessments of ideas and projects to define project objectives and resource requirements.
• Supervise internal engineering teams and collaborate with external engineering firms to develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Establish and maintain standards of quality and safety to ensure project effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to build a high-performing engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and procurement teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and assist in developing reliability tactics and continuous improvement projects.
• Lead initiatives to update standards and procedures related to electrical safety, maintenance, and design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Masters Degree in Business with 5 years of experience in project management/equipment design.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
