Electrical Estimator (Direct Hire Opportunity)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, collaborating with project teams, and analyzing bid documents to ensure competitive and precise proposals. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates in line with company business models and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project management teams, engineers, and design firms to develop proposals for design-build projects.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and pre-qualification events as required.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, evaluations, and cost analyses for electrical systems.
• Review and interpret bid documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options for proposals.
• Support project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, including pre-construction planning and change orders.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in electrical contracting, electrical design, or construction.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of the Greater Lehigh/Delaware Valley construction market.
• Ability to work independently or within a team to complete estimates and proposals efficiently.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

💰 Salary: $100K - $160K (based on experience)
