Job Description - Electrical Foreman - Davis Bacon Project

Erwin Electric, Inc. has been a trusted electrical contractor in Tampa Bay since 1997. We are a W/MBE and DBE certified electrical contractor performing commercial, industrial, and government electrical projects throughout the region.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to support a major transit facility project involving microgrid systems and duct bank installation. This role requires a foreman-level electrician who can lead crews, coordinate complex site power installations, and ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

Compensation:

$38–$45/hr depending on the project assignment and prevailing wage requirements.

Location: Tampa Bay Area

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise commercial electrical crews
Coordinate installation of duct banks, underground raceways, and site power infrastructure
Support installation of microgrid and advanced electrical distribution systems
Ensure work complies with NEC, OSHA, Florida Building Code, and Davis-Bacon requirements
Read and execute electrical plans, specifications, and schedules
Maintain productivity, quality, and safety on site
Others duties as assigned

Qualifications:

10+ years commercial electrical experience
3+ years overseeing electrical projects
Journeyman Electrical License Required
Experience with duct bank installation, site utilities, or infrastructure projects preferred
Experience with microgrid or distributed power systems preferred
Experience on Davis-Bacon / prevailing wage projects preferred
Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
