Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Electrical Top Helpers with industrial experience to join our manufacturing shop in Browns Summit, North Carolina. This role involves installing fire alarm and telecom wiring in industrial-scale air handling units.

Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Location: 5955 Summit Ave, Summit Ave, Browns Summit, NC 27214

Responsibilities:

• Bend and install conduit (EMT) with minimal supervision
• Install fire alarm and telecom wiring and components
• Pull and terminate wiring to electrical devices
• Read and comprehend shop drawings and schematics
• Comprehend NEC codes
• Test electrical components for proper functionality

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED, or related experience in electrical services

Job Requirements/Special Skills:

• Knowledge of fire alarm and telecom installation
• Previous experience bending and installing conduit
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of shop drawings and schematics
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor
• Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
