Continuous Improvement

  • Help improve build processes, assembly procedures, and hardware reliability

  • Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve manufacturability and serviceability

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical technician, robotics technician, or hardware integration roles

  • Experience assembling and troubleshooting electrical systems and wiring harnesses

  • Familiarity with electronics tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment)

  • Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

  • Hands-on experience assembling complex electromechanical systems

  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

Preferred

  • Experience with robotics platforms, UAVs, UGVs, or autonomous systems

  • Experience integrating sensors, cameras, radios, and embedded computing systems

  • Familiarity with battery systems, power distribution, and motor controllers

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, or autonomous vehicle programs

  • Prior experience in fast-paced startup environments

Bonus

  • Experience with embedded systems or basic firmware flashing

  • Experience supporting field operations or system deployment

  • Background as a crew chief, final assembly technician, or integration lead

Why Join Scout

  • Work on the frontier of autonomous defense systems

  • Help build and deploy the first robotic foundation model for defense
