Electrical Operations Lead

Prince Service & Manufacturing is hiring a licensed Master Electrician to serve as our Electrical Operations Lead. This hands-on role combines electrical assembly, integration, and testing with team leadership, focusing on generator systems and heavy industrial products. 

The ideal candidate is experienced in fast-paced production, skilled at leading a team, and comfortable with planning, quality control, training, and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Do:  

• Lead and participate in daily electrical work on large industrial products, including wiring, system integration, and testing.  
• Build, mentor, and manage a growing team of electricians and electrical helpers.  
• Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.  
• Ensure all work meets relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.  
• Oversee quality control documentation and ensure consistent product certification.  
• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.  
• Provide training and technical guidance to junior staff.  
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and other applicable standards.  
• Manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met in a production setting.  
• Maintain and improve processes related to electrical assembly and power systems, especially generator integration. 

• Active Master Electrician License (state-specific).  
• 10+ years of electrical experience, including at least 2 years in a production or manufacturing environment.  
• Proven experience working with backup power systems, generators, and heavy industrial electrical work.  
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and quality standards.  
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.  
• Experience with training, documentation, and process improvement.  
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. 
• Prefers experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments.  
• Background in panel building, UL508A compliance, or related industrial controls and familiarity with CAD or electrical drawing software is a plus.
