We are currently looking to fill positions in our Electrical Prep department on both our day and night shifts.

Electrical Prep is responsible for assisting the Electricians and ensuring that every building that is shipped out is held up to the quality standards of Protect Controls

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install Switchgear doors
• Install Bulkhead cover plates
• Install Personal Doors and apply signage
• Hang HVAC units
• Bends/ fills conduit when required
• Reads/Interprets designs and drawings
• Recognize and report hazards/ Apply safe work methods
• Operate a fork lift as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 years of related experience is preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders and saws
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must be able to read and interpret written and/or oral instructions
• Must be able to safely move and relocate heavy objects
• Be able to read a BOM
• Must be able to work at heights exceeding 6'

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.  Paid Weekly and on long term project.  Must have own, steel toe boots and PPE  and tools  Must pass drug test, background screen and have certifications for Texas.
