Electrical Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial and project management skills, a solid understanding of electrical construction industry, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.


• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.


• Direct and make decisions to guide your team on the project to ensure efficiency and financial success.


• Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.


• Utilize software tools such as Procore or Foundation.


• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, employees and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment.


• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.


• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.


• Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports on progress and any changes made during the project lifecycle.

Experience

• Proven experience in project management within the electrical construction field.


• Proficiency in blueprint reading and system design is essential.


• Familiarity with project coordination tools such as Procore for scheduling tasks effectively.


• Experience using Microsoft 365 for document management and collaboration is preferred.


• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including schematics and system build processes.


• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.


• Excellent communication skills to resolve issues when they arise


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
