Role Summary

Degryse anticipates hiring a Project Manager / Estimator to support commercial electrical projects from estimating through execution. The position is expected to function initially as a junior PM working under senior leadership while combining estimating and project-management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for commercial electrical opportunities.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
• Develop labor and material takeoffs.
• Support pricing and proposal preparation.
• Assist with project planning after award.
• Coordinate field requirements with Foremen and project leadership.
• Track project budgets, materials, schedules, and scope changes.
• Support change-order pricing and documentation.
• Communicate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Assist with project closeout and documentation.
• Maintain organized project records and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Commercial electrical construction experience.
• Electrical estimating and/or project-management experience.
• Ability to read electrical plans and specifications.
• Understanding of commercial electrical materials and installation methods.
• Strong organization and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Combined PM/Estimator experience.
• Experience with smaller commercial/TI projects.
• Field electrical background.
• Experience with medical, office, retail, restaurant, or similar commercial work.
• Experience working for a smaller commercial electrical contractor.

• Estimates are complete, timely, and commercially sound.
• Projects transition smoothly from estimating into field execution.
