Electrical Salesperson

American Electrician has proudly served the Colorado Springs community for over 30 years. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Salesperson to join our team and help drive our success into the future.

As an Electrical Salesperson, you will be responsible for expanding sales by identifying customer needs, recommending tailored solutions, and delivering exceptional service. Your focus will be on building lasting relationships with both new and existing clients while meeting or exceeding sales targets. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical components, systems, and industry trends. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
• Generate new business and drive company sales to meet monthly sales targets
• Respond to residential and commercial service calls to evaluate and diagnose issues
• Communicate with customers/leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs
• Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow-up on sales leads
• Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest
• Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems
• Provide periodic sales forecasts 
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience proven experience in electrical sales or a related field 
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, systems, and codes.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Excellent customer services skills
• Familiarity with scheduling or field service software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Jobber, or      similar) a plus
