Electrical Switchgear Functional Tester - 1st Shift

Perform mechanical inspection, insulation tests, electrical sequence tests according to the customer specification and assembly drawings/schematics. Troubleshoot various problems that occur during test to determine root causes and report findings to the area manager, engineering, quality, production, supply chain, etc. Ensure changes and/or corrections, completed by engineering and production are made as required and reflected on assembly drawings/schematics. Participate in production Tier 2 meetings, alignment meetings and quality meetings. Provide estimated testing times and test need dates to scheduler and production teams. High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required Minimum 2 years' work experience in electronics and/or electrical field, or equivalent Able to read and interpret complex electrical schematics Testing experience including extensive internal & external customer interface No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Associates degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution Four (4) years' experience in a similar role Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Understanding of Low Voltage Assemblies, Medium Voltage Assemblies, Metal Enclosed Front-Access Switchgear, Motor Control Centers and/or Medium Voltage Switches.
