Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Catoosa. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and components to ensure equipment meets established specifications. As an Electrical Technician, you will use your hands-on expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production systems while ensuring compliance with safety and code requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair machines, components, and wiring
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and company safety standards
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize disruptions
• Complete additional related duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred)
• 5+ years of electrical technician experience with a Journeyman License
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with manual and power tools
• Familiarity with OSHA and NEC safety regulations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in non-climate-controlled environments
