Support one of America’s most advanced manufacturing environments by ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of high -voltage and control systems across a steel production facility. This role exists to sustain continuous, safe production — empowering teams to solve problems at the source and keep operations running at peak performance.
Maintain and Troubleshoot Electrical Systems: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, including AC/DC motors, drives, power distribution, PLCs, and overhead cranes.
Apply Electrical Theory in Real Situations: Use a solid understanding of Ohm’s and Kirchhoff’s Laws to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical failures safely and efficiently.
Ensure Safety and Compliance: Lead by example in upholding and improving facility safety standards; initiate safe work practices and reinforce a culture of vigilance.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work effectively within a high -performing maintenance team—share information, propose improvements, and act on feedback.
Innovate and Improve: Contribute to process improvement initiatives that increase reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize energy efficiency.

Ideal for candidates with backgrounds such as:
Navy EM, IC, or ET
Air Force Electrical & Environmental Systems
Army 91E, 91F, 94E, or 94F
Marine Corps 1141/1142 (Electrician/Generator Tech)
Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
Proven electrical troubleshooting and repair skills in an industrial or military environment
Experience with medium and low -voltage systems, motor controls, drives, and power distribution up to 480V
Solid understanding of electrical theory (Ohm’s & Kirchhoff’s Laws)
Strong safety record and ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics
Preferred: PLC troubleshooting, high -voltage systems, overhead crane maintenance, substation experience
