Electrical Technician

• Design, install, and maintain fire alarm systems.
  
  


• Perform regular inspections and testing to ensure functionality of fire alarm systems.
  
  


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fire alarm systems.
  
  


• Install, service, and maintain fire extinguishers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  
  


• Provide training on the correct usage and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
  
  


• Design and install fire suppression systems (wet/dry chemical).
  
  


• Perform maintenance, inspections, and testing of fire suppression systems to ensure effectiveness.
  
  


• Work with clients to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  
  


• Perform electrical installation and maintenance for fire safety systems.
  
  


• Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes.
  
  


• Maintain records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  


• Certification in electrical systems or fire safety systems is preferred.
  
  


• Electrical certification is an added advantage.
  
  


• Proven experience with fire alarm, fire extinguisher, and fire suppression systems.
  
  


• Experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  
  


• Strong knowledge of fire safety systems and electrical systems.
  
  


• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  
  


• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and fire safety systems.
  
  


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  
  


• Ability to travel between job sites and transport equipment.
