Electrical Technician - Labs

What is JetZero? 

Today’s aircraft contribute around 2.5% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.  

JetZero is developing a blended wing aircraft. It uses 50% less fuel and can accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

This is why we’re hiring ​an Electrical Technician. You will be responsible for the buildout of the avionics and electrical systems for the systems integration labs.

JetZero is a place for people who are ambitious, talented, and humble. This role is based in Long Beach, CA reporting to the Head of R&D Operations.

What You'll Do

• Plan and coordinate the buildout of the avionics and electrical system for the systems integration lab, considering project requirements and stakeholder inputs.
• Procure materials and manage inventory for the lab buildout.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proper sizing and configuration of the lab space.
• Physically implement the buildout, utilizing your expertise to ensure precise installation of avionics and electrical components.

Experience

• Highschool Diploma/GED.
• 5 years of experience in aircraft manufacturing or maintenance.
• A&P mechanic experience preferred.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $100,000
