As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, machinery, and plant systems within the SoyPlus Plant, Elevator, and SoyChlor Plant. You will

• Configure, modify, and test electrical systems in plant.
• Program and replace VFDs (variable frequency drive).
• Install, maintain, diagnose issues, and repair all types of electrical equipment including actuators, conduit, motors, PLCs (programmable logic controller), starters, switches, valves, wiring, and more.
• Recommend and implement innovative ideas to improve equipment and system design.
• Be responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
• Follow all safety guidelines regulated by Landus Cooperative, OSHA, or other regulatory agencies.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Two – four years electrical or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of 480/277 and 208/120 volt systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience and/or training.
• Good computer skills and mechanical skills.
