Electrician

Description

The Electrician role requires a highly skilled technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems for plants and support facilities. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience with:

• Installation, replacement, and repair of electrical components (motors, starters, fuses, circuit breakers, conduit, controls, etc.).
• Ground continuity testing and 480-volt, three-phase systems.

The role demands both independent work and leadership capabilities, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. The technician will also collaborate with external vendors, provide training, adhere to and promote the Hennig culture, ensuring compliance with all safety rules and MSHA/OSHA regulations. 

Requirements

Requirements:

• Certified / licensed Industrial Electrician preferred
• Must have working knowledge of current National Electric Code
• Perform ground continuity testing. Must have experience with 480 volt, three phase systems.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver items weighing at least 50 pounds
• Ability to work extended hours, and weekends as the job requires.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems required
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, test instruments and electrical construction tools
• Experience with PLC’s and Automation systems a plus
• 5+ Year of Industrial Electrical Experience and 5+ year of experience reading controls and equipment wiring prints.
• Thorough understanding of electrical, motor control and lower voltage systems
• Understand electrical circuits concepts & Theory (Single Phase, Three Phase, AC and DC Electricity, 240V high leg system, wire colors, and test equipment)
