Evolved Lighting & Energy is a growing lighting design and installation company based out of Columbus, Ohio.  We currently have an opening for hard-working and reliable Electrician within our company.  We service Commercial, Industrial, and Municipal Customers throughout the state of Ohio and Midwest!

In all cases the Electrician is responsible for ensuring safe and reliable installation of electrical systems and devices. Typical projects will be related to lighting retrofit and lighting control projects. The role will also expand into Electrical service, warranty, EV charging, and BAS Controls

Job Duties:

• 
  Troubleshoots electrical issues for any projects needed.


• 
  Diagnose electrical issues (loose neutrals, tracing circuits, switching controls, etc.)


• 
  Reviews and looks over electrical plans/drawings


• 
  Ensures install crew is installing equipment correctly and up to electrical code standards


• 
  Determines if product is suitable for intended applications


• 
  Serves as Service Department lead for new and existing customer service requests


• 
  Schedules and conducts site visits to provide estimates and quotes


• 
  Completes service calls and rotates for emergency work


• 
  Program control systems


• 
  Performs EV Charging Installs


• 
  EV Charging commissioning


• 
  Leads a team of technicians if needed


• 
  Additional duties as needed

Required Skills and Abilities:

• 5+years in construction, lighting, tradesmen role


• 5+years utilizing hand and power tools


• 5+ years working in electrical environment


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to communicate through multiple mediums (text, email, phone)


• General knowledge of commercial construction material


• Ability to use common hand and power tools


• Physically able to maneuver ladders, fixtures, equipment, and tools daily


• Must be able to work flexible schedule 


• Must have a valid State Issued Driver’s License


• Experience operating lifts: exp: Scissor Lift or Boom Lift
