Looking to hire a full-time skilled Electrician to join our growing team.
This position will involve installing electrical wiring and equipment in commercial, industrial and residential buildings. Work will also require troubleshooting, testing, repairing and maintenance of existing electrical in those settings. We are currently looking to fill mechanic and helper positions.
Position: Electrician Mechanic (Payrate $25-$32 depending upon experience) and Electrician Helper (Payrate $15-$20 depending upon experience)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code
- Install electrical services and panels
- Independently handle commercial and residential service calls
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
- Replace various electrical devices, fixtures, ballasts, bulbs
- Read blueprints and project documents as required
- Effectively communicate within team to complete tasks on time
- Monitor and maintain job site safety standards
- Process daily paperwork as required
Qualifications / Skills Sets:
- Must be skilled at working on commercial, industrial and residential projects
- Proven track record in electrical techniques including electrical hardware, junction boxes and circuit breaker units, tracing lines, and reading wiring diagrams
- Must have excellent working knowledge of all electrical tools including testing equipment
- Must be committed to excellence and generate high quality work
- Must consistently report to work on time, work well with other employees to accomplish a common goal and maintain a safe work environment
