Industrial Electrician
Traver IDC is seeking licensed Electricians to join our team of Electro Mechanical professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Field work at Industrial locations throughout Connecticut will include wiring, troubleshooting, testing, repairing and upgrading of equipment and facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CTE1 or E2 electrician license required.
- Must be capable of operating with a minimum of supervision, have strong problem-solving skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work well with people.
- Must be safety minded.

Traver IDC provides 24-hour coverage on motor repair, on site electrical, mechanical and electronic troubleshooting, product deliveries, mechanical technical support, electrical technical support, electronic technical support, and engineering support.
Our motor repair technicians' capabilities include the repair and service of AC motors, DC motors, DC generators, eddy current units of all manufacturers, gear reducers and gear motors, hoists, pumps, welders and many other types of mechanical equipment. We specialize in the repair and service of AC and DC Servo motors, encoders, resolvers, and tachometers.
Our electrical contracting capabilities include electrical construction, electrical service, electronic service and panel building. Our electrical/mechanical engineering capabilities include infra-red testing, dynamic balancing, laser alignment, preventative maintenance and systems integration.
We also stock a variety of motors, controls, drives, lighting, distribution, automation and power transmission products from manufacturers such as Cutler Hammer, Baldor, U S Motors, Gates, Acme, Seimens-Furnas, Control Techniques, Yaskawa, Ferraz Shawmut, Little Giant and many others.
As an energy service provider, we provide comprehensive plant wide energy audit and work with the public utilities to get you rebates and loans to minimize your out of pocket cost to dramatically reduce your energy costs and provide substantial environmental benefits. We then deploy our own technicians to install all the necessary equipment and provide warranty and non-warranty service on all equipment after the project is complete.
Traver IDC has a fleet of over twenty five service vehicles including pick up and delivery vehicles, pick up trucks, service vans, a box truck and a five ton rack truck. Our staff of nearly 50 employees is ready and willing to keep you "up and runnin"®.
