Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. You will work closely with project managers, other trades, and clients to ensure all electrical work meets safety standards, code requirements, and project deadlines.

Pay is $40-50 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
• Inspect electrical components for safety hazards and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Collaborate with other trades and project teams to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on all job sites.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training a plus.
• Valid Illinois electrician license or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience (apprenticeship or journeyman level).
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform manual labor.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
