ELECTRICIAN

Responsible for the upkeep, operation, cleanliness, and safety of all electrical equipment associated with the infrastructure of the hospital. Repair and pm work could include fire alarm, electrical distribution, tube system, intercom, various electrical equipment, etc. Participates in department and craft meetings and uses correct safety work habits. Must be available and onsite for all emergencies, shut-downs or repairs as requested. Demonstrates prompt and courteous services to customers and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the organization. Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED Preferred educational qualifications: Associate degree, Technical School or Apprentice program graduate preferred Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience Prior job title or occupational experience: Minimum of two years working in the electrical trade. Prior specific functional responsibilities: General construction/ maintenance experience on plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC carpentry and/or mechanical systems.
