Electrician

• Perform interlock wiring as required
  


• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring,    equipment, and fixtures, using texting devices
  


• Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine material requirements and installation procedures
  


• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to be the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
  


• Direct and train workers in install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures monitor, direct, and improve the quantity and quality of work performed by the crew as necessary
  


• Provide Area Foreman or Lead Person with current and accurate information by generating RFi’s, memorandum and other forms of communication
  

Requirements

• At least 5-years commercial field experience required (a current journeyman’s license preferred)
  


• A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role on a commercial project
  


• Knowledge of National Electrical Codes (NEC) with the ability to read and interpret blueprints
  


• Able to run commercial projects, assign duties to electricians/helpers and inspect their work
  


• Able to foresee material for the project and order as needed
  


• Must have all hand tools required for job
  


• Valid driver's license required
  


• Reliable transportation
  


• Authorized to work in the U.S.
