Electrician

Education/Experience:

• Completion of High School Diploma or GED
  


• Five years of maintenance experience is required
  


• Technical school or apprenticeship in a skilled trade is preferred
  


• California state certification preferred
  


• Leadership experience preferred
  


• Welding experience preferred
  

Skills/Knowledge/Ability:

• Performing work requiring extensive knowledge of motor controls, troubleshooting, electrical schematics, and blueprints, including electronic theory and principles.
  


• Working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable logic controls, motor controls circuits, computer interfaces, frequency drives, and National Electrical Code. Must be able to read and create electrical ladder schematics and trouble shoot industrial controls.
  


• Proficient at replacing and installing electrical components such as heaters, relays, switches, motors, circuit breakers, power wiring, conduit, and sensors.
  


• Proficient at working with voltages, including 480 VAC, 277 VAC, 120 VAC volt controls, and 24 VDC controls.
  


• Able to lift 55lbs.
