As we launch our new facility in Mesquite, Texas, we are looking for talented individuals to support our operations and contribute to the site’s success.

To support this growth, we are seeking an Electrician to play a key role in the assembly and wiring of our control systems.

The Electrician is responsible for performing high-quality assembly, wiring, and connections on various control panels in accordance with customer specifications and internal manufacturing standards. The incumbent ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures and the work environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install equipment (duct, junction boxes, lights, control panels, vfd, etc.) according to wiring diagrams in a manufacturing facility using ladders, hand tools, etc.

• Bend electrical ducts using bending equipment

• Measure, cut and pull the wires according to the specification and applicable electrical code

• Connect wires in panels and various devices/components

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the operation of electrical circuits in an industrial product

• Coordinate efforts with other workers involved in the installation of equipment or components

• Participate in the production tasks of the electrical department

• Check and warn the supervisor when equipment is not working properly or needs repairs

• Ensure that the work complies with the required electrical codes (Canada, United States)

• Ensure that TQC (self-inspection) sheets are respected and signed before advancing a unit on the production line

• Coordinate required electrical tests on units

• Coordinate the connections required for tests, start-up, 120v, controls, etc.

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Education: Certificate or Qualification in Electricity (off construction site), DCS or DVS

Experience: Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in HVAC is an asset.

Computer Skills: None required

Certificates & Licenses: Level 2 certified Electrician

• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical, control, and technical drawings.

• Solid understanding of technical documentation and files.

• Demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Show versatility, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Willingness to share knowledge and expertise with others.

• Exercise sound judgment and demonstrate initiative.

• Good physical condition

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
