Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to support a large-scale wastewater treatment plant and environmental remediation treatment systems. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial, construction, manufacturing, mining, or heavy commercial environments.
The Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical, instrumentation, and control system equipment supporting operation of the Questa Mine Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP) and associated Water Collection System (WCS). The position works closely with operations, maintenance, instrumentation, and control system personnel to maximize plant reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
This role is hands-on and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and collaboration with multidisciplinary field teams.
In an exciting and diverse role, you will:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair motors, motor controls, MCCs, power distribution equipment, control panels, VFDs, lighting systems, and instrumentation systems.
Assist the maintenance team with calibration, maintenance, and replacement of instrumentation and analytical equipment.
Assist maintenance mechanics with maintenance and repair activities on rotating equipment and mobile equipment when needed.
What you will bring to the team:
Proficiency using Microsoft Office, maintenance documentation systems, and CMMS platforms.
