Electrician Apprentice

Essential Job Functions

Position:           Electrician Apprentice               

Department:      Engineering

Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

         Willingness to commit to completion of 4 year apprentice program.

         Willingness to learn all aspects of the Electrician trade

         Working daily with, and taking supervision from designated trainer.

         Understanding instructions, both verbally and written, from Supervisor

         Participating in and achieving passing score in all class work required.

         Testing for and obtaining Journeyman Electrician card on completion of program.

Secondary Responsibilities:

          Communicating daily progress reports to Supervisor

          Keeping uniforms, equipment, and tools clean and in good condition

          Attending all mandatory training of the department or Hotel

Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)

         8:00 – 4:30 M-F, can vary

Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)

         High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)

         Must be able to understand and follow directions both written and oral

         Must be able to communicate both written and orally
