Electrician / Electrical Conduit Wirer

ELECTRICIAN / ELECTRICAL CONDUIT WIRER (Permanent)

Our client, a global manufacturing organization with US headquarters in WNY, is looking to add an Electrician / Electrical Conduit Wirer to their growing  team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate who enjoys building relationships and identifying business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Working from electrical drawings and NEC code requirements, execute the physical wiring and power distribution, controls, and specialty electrical systems on large systems manufactured by company
  
  
  


• Install electrical conduit: measuring, cutting, threading, and bending 
  
  
  


• Pull wire and cable through conduit systems: size, calculate, and pull without exceeding maximum tension
  
  
  


• Set and install distribution panels, motor control centers, and switchgears per electrical drawings and equipment specs
  
  
  


• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance, safety, and that everything meets blueprints per customer orders
  
  
  


• Coordinate with other teams (engineering, manufacturing, etc.) on conduit and equipment routing to minimize conflicts and maintain code clearances
  
  
  


• Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  
  
  


• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  
  
  

Details:

• Position is full-time, direct hire
  
  
  


• 100% in-office; 6:00am-2:30pm EST Monday through Friday
  
  
  


• $30.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience

• 3+ years as an Electrician
