Electrician- Facilities- Full Time

About the Role

The Electrician is responsible for performing preventative, routine, and emergency service on the property’s electrical systems.

Position Responsibilities

• Assists Lead Electrician in maintaining all aspects of the properties electrical systems
• Removes debris caused by work completed
• Maintains proper care and storage of tools and equipment
• Ensures that all work is completed and of superior craftsmanship
• Works closely with Lead to coordinate an efficient and safe work environment

Essential Functions

• High degrees of mobility to enable person to respond to any type of emergency situation of service call

• Ability to effectively communicate by way of 2-way radio or pager system
• Physical ability and skill to use normal tools and equipment associated with the trade
• Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs

• Five (5) years’ experience as Commercial/Industrial Electrician required
• Electrical License and/or knowledge of state and local electrical codes required
• Blueprint and schematic reading skills required.
• Must demonstrate good verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak, read and write in English
