Senior Industrial Electrician - 2nd Shift (Journeyman Level)

Join a leading industrial manufacturer as a Senior Electrician on our second shift team. We're seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to maintain and enhance our state-of-the-art electrical systems while working in a stable, growth-oriented environment with competitive compensation.

Position Overview

Working Monday-Friday on 2nd shift (with occasional weekend overtime), you'll apply your expertise to maintain, troubleshoot, and install industrial electrical systems while ensuring compliance with NEC standards and safety protocols.

Essential Responsibilities

• Install and maintain high-voltage electrical systems up to 69 kilovolts
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, generators, and power distribution systems
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Install and maintain power transmission lines, substations, and control centers
• Work with electronic controls and automated systems
• Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints
• Mentor and guide junior electricians
• Maintain safety standards and compliance with National Electric Code

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Strong knowledge of NEC standards
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
• Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
