Job Description - Electrician (Traveling) - Rio Grande Valley


Live in the Valley, Travel Texas!
Knight Electric has projects all across Texas. You can live in the Valley, and travel to our projects. We cover all travel expenses including housing, per diem and more. 

About Knight Electric:
Knight Electric is an electrical contractor focusing on commercial new construction and remodels. Our culture and continued investment in our employees set us apart from the others. We do most of our projects in Texas and the Southeast US. 
  • Offices in Justin, TX and Alpharetta, GA 
About this role:
We are currently looking for Electricians to work and lead commercial electrical construction projects. Experience in commercial new construction, remodels / rollouts is a plus.

Compensation:
  • $22.00 - $35.00 per hour pending experience and active license. 
  • Travel expenses paid.
Travel:
  • Travel can be for 2-3 week stints, we pay for your travel home. 
  • Hotel/AIRBNB is paid, travel is covered as well as per diem. 
Requirements:
  • 2+ years in the commercial electrical field. 
  • State Electrical Apprentice license​​​​​
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Experienced running conduit and terminating devices.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects. 
  • Ability to work in various angles or surfaces, such as climbing ladders.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • OSHA 10 or higher certificate required
Preferred Requirements: 
  • Experienced in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and drawings.
  • Perform quality control testing and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a remodel/open store setting. 
  • State Journeyman or Masters license 
  • Education from an accredited trade school or similar.
