Job Overview
A stable and growing manufacturing operation is seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join its 2nd shift production and maintenance support team. This role involves assembling, installing, testing, and supporting electromechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient machine operation.
You will work in a structured environment with clear procedures, team support, and opportunities for growth, training, and advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and fit electromechanical components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates
Install electrical and electronic parts into machine housings and assemblies
Perform basic soldering and support electrical/mechanical integration work
Test electromechanical systems using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments
Support machine setup and ensure equipment is ready for safe operation
Conduct routine testing to verify performance, safety, and efficiency
Record and analyze machine performance data to support maintenance decisions
Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to enter work orders and track maintenance activity
Identify and suggest improvements to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
Follow work direction from group leaders and support production/maintenance teams
Required Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, electromechanical assembly, maintenance, or technical support
Progress toward a technical degree or related training is preferred
Ability to use a computer for CMMS work orders, parts lookup, and data entry
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to use standard hand tools and test equipment
Physical Requirements
Standing, bending, stooping, and manual dexterity for extended periods
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs (pre-employment physical required)
Must pass drug screening and background check
Preferred Skills
Electromechanical assembly or maintenance technician experience
Electrical troubleshooting and basic circuit understanding
Use of test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, voltmeters)
CMMS experience (work orders, maintenance tracking, data entry)
Mechanical assembly, blueprint/schematic reading
Basic soldering and wiring skills
Exposure to production equipment, automation, or machine maintenance

Work Location Note
This is a fully onsite position in Ripon, Wisconsin. Candidates within a 30–45 minute commute (including Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Waupun, and nearby communities) are strongly preferred. No relocation assistance is provided.
