Electronic Technician – Quantico, VA
Full Visibility is seeking an Electronic Technician to work in Quantico, VA. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance.
The Electronic Technician (ET) will be responsible for developing and designing test and repair equipment, analyzing repair practices, and developing procedural instructions on methods and steps of equipment repairs. The candidate will develop maintenance standards and procedures, test and evaluate new or modified systems, and analyze the compatibility of interlocking components and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and directing the installation of complex systems and associate facilities, particularly where there are problems of site selections and construction, and responsible for designing and analyzing circuits, determining feasibility of these designs evaluating equipment. The ET will perform under varying environmental conditions, collecting data, and designing or modifying designs to achieve performance and cost objectives. The candidate will provide basic repairing of systems and equipment to include detecting and diagnosing malfunctions, tearing down equipment, repairing or replacing parts or components, aligning, calibrating, and testing the modified or repaired equipment. The Electronic Technician will perform preventative and corrective maintenance to keep equipment and systems in reliable condition, install equipment in accordance with plans, specifications and detailed instructions, reinstall repaired or modified equipment, and fabricate electronic equipment in accordance with plans, specifications and instructions including constructing, assembling, arranging, mounting, and wiring electronic parts and components. The candidate will make measurements to diagnose malfunctions to ensure equipment operates within prescribed standards.

Requirements
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• At least three (3+) years of direct experience in design, assembly, and testing of electronic hardware
• Possess the ability to assemble prototypes at the board level and integrate component boards into systems
• Experience making modifications to existing hardware in an expeditious manner, often based on minimally documented design modifications
• Possess the ability to test boards and assembled devices using commercial or special purpose test equipment
• Associate’s degree or equivalent
Preferred:
• Experience monitoring/logging computer systems for security threats
• Experience installing necessary security measures
• Development/coding experience
• Experience installing and monitoring hardware and software systems
