Electronic Technician - Hiring Fast

Our client in the conveyor manufacturing industry is seeking an Electronic Technician to join their team. As an Electronic Technician, you will be part of the Assembly Department supporting the Electrical Team.  The ideal candidate will have positive communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced and physically-demanding environment and work effectively with a team and independently which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electronic Technician

Location:  Lynchburg, VA

Pay Range:  $15 to $20 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Wire and assemble electrical aspects of subassemblies and finished assembly products for conveyors and related equipment
• Build products to the established standard, perform functional tests to meet specifications and quality checks to ensure on-time deliveries to the client
• Work carefully to prevent scrap and re-work

What’s Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing assembly environment
• Experience reading and following electrical schematics, drawings and blueprints, conducting tests with an ohm-meter and other electrical testing equipment
• Previous experience with wire cutting, crimping and terminating ends along with identifying wire colors, gauges, conductors and electrical components
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, shop math skills and knowledge of PC applications
• High School Diploma or GED, background check and drug screen
