Electronic Technician with Wiring Experience

 A leading designer and manufacturer of low voltage electronics and power supplies.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician with Wiring Experience to join our team. This is an in-house position where you will be responsible for mounting and wiring low-voltage electronics in various configurations. Your experience will ensure the production of high-quality kits which are deployed in access control systems globally.

Responsibilities:

• Interconnecting low-voltage electronics inside various styles of enclosures per specifications.
• Wire and connect electrical components, cables, and harnesses, ensuring proper routing and secure connections.
• Follow quality control procedures and perform visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and meet production deadlines.
• Provide feedback to product managers to support and improve processes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in  electronics assembly is a plus.
• Experience as an Electronic Technician with a strong focus on wiring and electrical connections a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components, wiring techniques, and assembly methods is a plus.
• Reading and interpreting installation instructions.
• Experience with hand and power tools, hand-tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small components and accurately performing wiring tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet production targets and workflows.
• Other duties as necessary

Rate of Pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.

Status:

Full-time/ regular (40 hours per week)/ Monday- Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm)
