Electronics Assembler

Assembly – Contractor B (1st Shift) | Clifton, NJ

Position Summary:

Talent Source is seeking an Assembly Contractor (B Level) to support production operations in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This role involves performing a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks, including wire harnessing, soldering, component installation, and cable assembly. The assembler will follow written instructions, schematics, and production processes to meet daily build and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks (wiring, harnessing, soldering, cable assembly)

• Follow schematics, blueprints, and documented procedures for assigned work

• Make basic equipment adjustments and maintain accuracy to specified tolerances

• Identify issues and escalate them when needed

• Use computer systems for timekeeping, reviewing instructions, and accessing production documents

• Work closely with leads and team members to meet production goals

• Maintain a safe and organized workstation

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of assembly experience

– OR – Associate Degree with 0–2 years of related experience

• Cable harness assembly experience

• Ability to follow detailed written and visual assembly instructions

• Basic computer skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a clearance in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• IPC-610 or J-STD certifications

• Soldering certifications

• Experience in electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing

Schedule & Compensation:

• Pay range: $28–$30/hr

• Full-time, 1st shift (6:30AM–3:00PM), Monday–Friday

• Occasional overtime

• 6-month contract with potential for extension or temp-to-hire
