You will contribute to the overall development of Mission Systems and should be a self-starter with familiarity working in an Integrated Product Team construct.\n\nIn this role you will be responsible for:\n\n * Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot and redline documented procedures.\n * Implementing engineering changes to the system as required.\n * Integrating and testing network software and/or hardware systems in complex network systems.\n * Working closely with Engineers and Technicians in a lab environment.\n * Planning, communicating, and documenting network tasks.\n * Configuring and troubleshooting common network devices such as Cisco IOS.\n\n\n\nYou will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. Once established in role, the position could potentially offer a hybrid work environment. Scheduled telework days are approved at manager\u0027s discretion. This position requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master\u2019s degree in a STEM discipline.\n * Understanding of IP4 networks, Ethernet, UDP and TCP/IP.\n * Familiar with Cisco Hardware, data centers, and network cabling\n * Familiar with Windows and Linux configuration and troubleshooting.\n * Familiar with AGILE processes and SCRUM tools (JIRA, Confluence).\n * DODD 8570 certifications, such as CompTIA Security+.\n * Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) with ability to Obtain Top Secret Clearance.\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).\n * Understanding of IP subnetting and routing protocols including OSPF and EIGRP.\n * Knowledge on Virtualization (e.g. VMware).\n * Knowledge on tactical wireless communications technologies (e.g. LOS, BLOS).\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
