Electronics Exploitation

Parra Consulting Group is seeking an Electronics Exploitation to support advanced technical operations within the Intelligence Community. The candidate will provide subject matter expertise in electronic device exploitation (EXFIL), including chip-off, JTAG, and forensic extraction techniques in support of national security missions. This position is mission-critical and requires a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, classified environment. This position will support C5ISR Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Perform electronics exploitation (EXFIL) on a wide range of digital devices, including mobile phones, embedded systems, IoT devices, and proprietary platforms.


• Apply advanced hardware exploitation methods including JTAG, chip-off, ISP, and UART to extract memory content.


• Conduct forensic imaging and analysis of volatile and non-volatile memory to extract actionable intelligence.


• Document processes and findings in technical reports and briefings for government stakeholders.


• Collaborate with intelligence analysts, digital forensics examiners, and reverse engineers to support mission objectives.


• Maintain proficiency in current and emerging electronic exploitation tools, techniques, and procedures.


• Provide training or mentoring to junior staff on exploitation best practices and toolsets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active TS/SCI.


• BA/BS or associate’s degree plus 3 yrs. experience or 6 yrs. of experience.


• Demonstrated proficiency with JTAG, chip-off, and ISP extraction methods.


• Experience with forensic software such as Cellebrite Physical Analyzer, XRY, FTK, or similar.


• Familiarity with microcontroller architectures (ARM, MIPS, x86) and embedded file systems (YAFFS2, F2FS, etc.).

• Experience supporting national-level intelligence or military operations.


• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation of exploitation processes.
