Electronics Technician II 

Reports to 

• Shop Supervisor 

Summary of Position 

Has 1 to 3 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Will be required to do monthly PM services, software updates and training of lower level techs. 

Requirements 

• Possess an advanced hand tool set. 
  


• To follow all safety processes and procedures.
  


• Siemens, Rockwell, Opto22 plc training


• Knowledge of industrial engine/transmission diagnostic software. 


• Safeland training


• Install/repair/calibrate 4-20ma instruments for plc control


• Proficient with computers

Duties & Responsibilities 

• MUST FOLLOW ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS


• Basic understanding of the use of diagnostic software and how to use it.


• Proficient knowledge of hydraulic systems and their correct control settings. 


• Can perform electro/hydraulic system troubleshooting. 


• Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting. 


• Has a good understanding on basic equipment operation and theory. 


• Basic understanding of troubleshooting and repair of greaser systems.
  


• Is proficient in performing all monthly PM services with no guidance.


• Must have a good understanding of electro-hydraulics pump systems
