Salary Range: $62,755 – $105,771 annually, based on verified experience and education

About the Role
Fullerton School District is hiring an Elementary General Music Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. We’re seeking a passionate educator with strong music pedagogy skills and a commitment to nurturing creativity in young learners. This role provides general music instruction for TK–6 students and contributes to building a vibrant arts education program districtwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach standards-aligned general music to elementary students
• Develop and deliver lesson plans that foster musical literacy and creative expression
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Assess and monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in school and district-wide events, committees, and collaboration
• Establish a positive classroom environment that supports student success
• Integrate arts and music throughout the broader curriculum when appropriate
• Collaborate with staff to support student learning outcomes and school initiatives

Qualifications
Required:

• Valid California Single Subject Music Credential, or
• Multiple Subject Credential with a supplemental authorization in music
• Credential must be in hand by August 2025 (candidates nearing completion encouraged to apply)
• Experience:
• Prior student teaching, internship, or classroom teaching experience
• Up to 10 years of verified full-time teaching may be credited toward salary placement
