Elementary School Nurse Aide (Full Time, Hourly)

STHE ROLE
As the School Nurse Aide, you will be a vital part of Ethos Classical, promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our scholars. You will work closely with the school nurse to provide basic care, manage health records, and maintain communication with families. This role ensures scholars stay healthy and focused on learning, free from health concerns during the school day.

THE PERSON
As a School Nurse Aide, you will:

• Assist in daily health checks, first aid, and care for scholars.


• Monitor and record scholars' health conditions.


• Maintain and update health records and emergency contact information.


• Communicate with families regarding scholar health issues and required actions.


• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the nurse's office.


• Administer medication to scholars. 

THE MUST HAVES

• Prior Experience: Previous experience in healthcare, ideally as a nursing assistant, in a school or pediatric setting.


• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.


• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to stay calm under pressure, and knowledge of basic medical practices.


• Work Demands: Full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

COMPENSATION
Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
