Job Summary

Skyline Elevator, Inc. is a family owned and operated elevator company with over 20 years of experience in Elevator Modernization, Elevator Construction and Maintenance. We are looking to grow our West Coast team with skilled elevator mechanics, who can install, maintain and repair equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

Inspect elevators of all types and makes, diagnose faulty operation, make necessary repairs and adjustments, and troubleshoot problems.

Diagnose equipment deficiencies and recommend significant changes or requirements.

Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and other lifting equipment.

Analyze and repair failures, especially in emergencies.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.

Repair or replace defective parts.

Regular inspections should be conducted to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.

Respond to emergency repair calls promptly.

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.

Provide excellent customer service to building owners and occupants.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license

Florida CC License (CET is strongly required)

Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to work independently

Ability to travel and work after hours when needed

Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions

Compensation: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
