Eligibility Specialist

Rare opportunity to join HealthySkin Dermatology’s Billing Department as a full-time, experienced eligibility specialist. Position has the potential to be remote upon completion of training! This position is non-exempt and can be worked as a compressed work week of 4/10's or 5/8's.

Duties include:

• Accurate data entry
• Communicate with patients, legal guardians, and insurance companies to answer verify coverage and benefits.
• Insurance eligibility

The right candidate:

• Has at least one year’s worth of experience in medical insurance eligibility verification.
• Has a working knowledge of health insurance coverage and benefits.
• Has a high level of data entry accuracy.
• Has the ability to multitask and successfully manage multiple priorities.
• Follows written and verbal instructions well.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
• Is experienced on electronic practice management and electronic health records systems.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• At least one year’s worth of medical insurance verification experience.
