Responsibilities
- Analyze embedded systems to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Lead engineering teams in task execution and problem-solving.
- Coordinate with customers to align project goals and expectations.
- Utilize debugging tools like GDB for troubleshooting.
- Engage in research and development within environments such as VxWorks or ELDK.
- Define and manage meaningful milestones for project success.
Requirements
- Over 12 years of experience in embedded systems with a focus on ARM, PPC, MIPS, or similar architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, C, and assembly language (ASM).
- Expertise in debugging tools such as GDB.
- Ability to independently drive research tasks and coordinate effectively with customers.
Desired Skills
- Experience working with real-time operating systems like VxWorks or ELDK.
- Familiarity with additional embedded OS environments.
- Knowledge of project management techniques to streamline workflows.
- Strong documentation skills for clear project communication.
- Understanding of performance optimization methods in embedded systems.
- Background in IoT system development.
- Experience with version control tools beyond Git (e.g., SVN, Mercurial).
- Ability to mentor and train junior engineers.
